awful product, I would give it negative stars if I could, the pages come out super easily and I treat my journals with care just for this one to fall apart for no apparent reason

Here’s the thing: I loved my first of these journals. It was perfect. I loved the page layout, the line spacing, everything. I got my second one so pleased with the product. Probably about an 8th into the journal, previously written on pages began to fall out: sometimes one at a time, sometimes chunks at a time. I had to use scotch tape to piece it back together. Because my first had not had this issue, I assumed (and HOPED) perhaps I got a faulty one and since I loved so much about it, I bought my third when my second was full (and taped together). My third arrived and started well, but once again, about 1/8th into the journal, pages have begun falling out. First it was one page, then suddenly 10 pages fell out together. I still have most of the journal to go and I know it will be a big old tape project to keep the journal in one piece. At this point, either the quality fell off significantly or my first journal was the fluke of good quality and the rest are this terrible. I’m incredibly disappointed for multiple reasons: 1) Aesthetically I really enjoy this. I like the weight and feel of the paper; I enjoy the nostalgia of the loose leaf I grew up with due to the margins; I like the spacing of the lines; the hard cover and strap are great. But I can’t support ever buying one of these again because of the quality of the binding. 2) My journals are sacred spaces for me. To lose a page is an actual loss to me. I struggle to stop using this journal now as it is already full of weeks of my writing. I struggle to continue to use this journal because I know that more pages will only continue to fall out as I progress. Do yourself a favor and do NOT purchase this. Find a different one that meets your needs because the quality isn’t there. In the pictures you can see how far I am into this new third journal by the ribbon placement, how the pages are loose, and how once you attempt to put them back in they no longer line up with the edges of the intact pages. Happy to provide pictures of my DIY project of my last journal where all of the edges are wonky because of the number of pages that fell out by the end of it. I gave 2 stars rather than 1 simply because of the other details I enjoy.

The quality of this journal is amazing! I will say I added a print out of a picture on regular printer paper and tapped it in there and the page started coming apart from the book. Other than that I love it

First of all, I love this book because it's pages are quality. They're smooth, college rule, and peel out of the book with ease. On the other hand, I like to scrapbook so I tend to stuff my pages with things. And I mean, that's my own choice, but the pages start to peel out extremely easily, causing the book to fall apart. Leading to me having to tape the pages back in and them sticking out on the side.

The pages are thick which is amazing!! And it is very cute. But I’ve only written in it for 3 days and the pages are already falling out. I’m highly disappointed that the pages are just coming apart.

It’s very nice has a sturdy cover and love the pages and how thick they feel I’ve been using it 2 weeks BUT the pages are falling out basically the binding is a glorified sketch paper by the way the pages detach from the spine of the book it’s not sown in it’s like possibly glued in?But feels more like it’s double sided tapped into the book!

TLDR: I’m super picky about journals and I actually really like this one. The pages are nice and thick while still being easy to tear out, and it’s a good size. This is a long review so I’ll break it up. Some background: I’m super neurodivergent (hi adhd how are you) and was looking to maybe start a bullet journal, but I’m notoriously bad at keeping up with physical planners (google calendar devotee), so I didn’t want to buy a nice journal like a Moleskin/Leuchttrum only for it to not really stick and get messy. I wish I was kidding when I say I basically sat in the aisle at my local target feeling the pages of the journals because I sincerely detest the feeling of that cheap thin paper that’s often used in the more budget-friendly journals. I eventually settled on this one and while the bullet journal didn’t work out, it was easy to tear out the pages and continue to use it. Pros: + love the texture of the pages, they’re super easy to write on and it’a not a stark white so it’s easy on the eyes too + pages are also nice and thick, so my highlighters/various writing utensils don’t bleed through + the width is a tad wider than other journals which I actually really enjoy + size is just overall really great imo, it fits perfectly in most of my tote bags/backpacks/whatever other vessel I use to carry stuff around, without feeling small or claustrophobic. + the little book mark is nice and the elastic is sturdy! Cons: - the gold on the edges of the pages isn’t my favorite, but that’s just a personal preference and has no impact on the functionality - there’s a little pocket in the back which is normal except IT DOESNT FIT ANYTHING. This is irksome. It looks like it should be big enough to fit a page, but it’s a smidge too small. The best I can fit in there is like two singular post-it notes. That’s an exaggeration, but my point is that it’s virtually useless and that’s annoying. In summary, I’m super picky about my journals and I actually really like this one. I feel like it’s a great quality for the price and I’ll probably be buying more.

Although the cover is great and sturdy and the pages are great quality the binding is POORLY done. The moment I started using it, the first couple pages of the binding started falling off. I thought, "Fine, maybe it's just the first couple pages and the rest of the journal will be okay." WRONG the more I use it, more and more pages keep falling off (I AM ONLY 10 PAGES IN). Total loss and toss. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Despite being beautiful and perfectly designed aesthetically, this journal is unfortunately a waste of money. I’m only to page 14 and it is already falling apart! Pages are falling out, as other reviewers have found. They need to do a major re-design on this lovely journal!

The pages are thick and smooth so it's pleasant to write in. The line spacing is smaller than college ruled which I love. I haven't had pages fall out like other comments mention but I am sad it's not acid free.

I'm a hobbyist writer and everything about this sparks joy. I'm SUPER picky about my notebooks, and this checks all my boxes. I won't lie to you though I still haven't written in it :) I see comments on insufficient binding so keep that in mind, but I haven't encountered this quite yet. Regardless I'd love to see more styles almost exactly like this!

I've bought several copies of this journal, and the quality of the product has been getting steadily worse. About a dozen pages have fallen out of the one I'm currently using. It's otherwise a beautiful notebook, with a nice cover and beautiful gilt-edged paper. But it's no good if the pages keep falling out. :-( I won't be buying it again.

Pages are nice and thick with no bleed-through when writing with pens BUT pages detach very easily!! I’m using this for work notes and need to refer back and forth and within 2 days of getting this notebook several pages have detached 1/4 to 1/3 of the way. The whole point of the notebook is to keep my pages organized, I shouldn’t have to tape pages back in!
