  • A: Hi Crafty, thanks for your interest in our products. This cotton poplin fabric is not sheer. You can see color tones underneath, but no detail. So for example, if you wore a black bra underneath the nightgown, people could see the dark tones underneath, but no detail. Hope that's helpful!

I was able to try out a Women's Cotton Victorian Nightgown, Cecilia Sleeveless Lace Trimmed Button Up Long Night Dress by Alexander Del Rossa. The fabric seems durable, but super soft! I’m not sure if I slept better, but I didn’t wake up to pant legs rolling up, which made me very happy! I’m sorry I haven’t slept in a nightgown sooner, because it’s truly comfortable!

This nightgown has a nice feminine style, but isn't as flattering on me as I had hoped. I typically wear XS, but this still seemed to be a bit large for my small frame leaving me feeling like I am wearing a paper bag. The quality of the material is great, the detailing is pretty, and it feels soft and comfortable. I think this would look great on someone with a more average body shape, but unfortunately it just didn't work well for me.
