A: With close parental supervision and safety goggles glued to his face my age-3 toddler started shooting it from the tripod. Biggest hurdle was teaching him to push the thumb-trigger first down then in.

My boys love this one!
Second time purchasing, this time it’s for our youngest son. Last year we got the exact same one for our oldest on Christmas and our youngest added this to his list this year.. For a nerf fun setup this thing is wicked!! Extremely impressed with the range and accuracy, but it is a bit flimsy.. This will make for a great Christmas present and I cannot wait to watch them play against each other.

2 seconds of joy
We had just bought an assembled this and my son was so excited to try it. He didn’t even get through the full chain before malfunction happened and the feet area stopped working. He was only able to shoot off a couple rounds before it malfunctioned so now I have to disassemble everything find all of the Nerf bullets and return it back to the store. We tried to troubleshoot it, and ensure there was no lingering Nerf bullets stuck inside which there was not something mechanical bro.

Tricky to get working. Eventually fun.
It's really fun, but getting it working was a process. As most say, the instructions are bad. We had to watch some YouTube videos and then experiment a bit. Some important tips 1) steps two and four are really important for loading. The orange switch on the bottom needs to be pulled back to load and then pushed forward when you are done loading. 2) when you shoot, you have to press the trigger in and down to shoot 3) THIS ONE IS KEY: if, when you try to shoot, there is a grinding noise and the bullets are not advancing despite having pushed the lock on the bottom forward, you likely have not loaded in the bullets quite right. It's a bit finicky. You need to ensure that the back ridge of the bullet holders are placed behind (closer to the back of the gun) the rotating piece that feeds the bullets through (see pics). Once we figured that out it shot smoothly and consistently. Minus a star for the poor instructions and the upset kids along the way, but it was all smiles and excitement at the end.

Doesn't work 9/10 DON'T BUY
Doesn’t load the bullets correctly 9/10 times so they get stuck and gun won’t work. As an adult I can barely get it to work properly on a regular basis. Have to keep taking bullets in and out until they click into place JUST perfectly. Very frustrating. Waste of money.

It Works!
Bought this for my 8 year old and it is awesome! You have to push the trigger in and down, works every time! I will say, watch a video online on how to setup because the instructions are terrible.

Do NOT buy
It worked for 2 minutes, then it stopped loading bullets. Motor sounds like its working but nothing is moving. Kid is crying. Awful.
