The outside cover is very soft, but the cheap Styrofoam filling is so hard you can't sink into the bag or get comfortable. We'll be exchanging it.

Be careful with the handle on this bean bag! It got wrapped around my 6 year old’s wrist as he was moving it and was tightly tangled and it was very dangerous! Had to cut the fabric and then the handle to get it off of my son’s wrist since it was so tightly wrapped!

I purchased this bean bag because the price was ok. When it arrived I sat on it. It felt like a rock. But it was soft, my dogs enjoyed it.
