For homes with staircases that lack a bordering wall, the Y Spindle is the perfect solution for safely installing pressure-mounted gates. Designed to wrap around balusters, it ensures a secure and stable fit, providing peace of mind where safety is paramount. Compatible with all Gateway(R) Models, the Y Spindle can be used on either side of the gate, making installation easy. Simply replace the included padded spindles with a Y Spindle on as many corners as needed. Note: For staircases with balusters on both sides, the K100 Installation Kit is required to ensure a proper fit.
