Great baby/toddle gate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate is light weight and easy to use! We brought it to my mother in laws to use when we visit. It also comes with pieces you can screw into wall/door frame to make it sturdier.

NOT PORTABLE
Product description states that it is portable. Then the actual packaging says that you must use the wall mounts. I tried without. I could not find a single doorway that it fit in. I managed to get it to fit on one door, but not where it would be ideal to keep it and my 17 lb baby barely touched it and knocked it over. Will be returning ASAP

I like that it has vertical poles so harder to climb. The lock is a bit diffucukt to use so I would place this in a less traveled place in the home.

Nice but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've reached the point where we need to heavily babyproof our home. Our small human is on the move and has no sense of self preservation, so safeguarding things is a must. In addition to our top/bottom of stairs gates, we recently added the Regalo wooden safety gate to the hallway leading to the garage. The gate itself was pretty easy to install but the quality wasn't top notch. The wood was splintering at some of the ends instead of being sanded down nicely like the finished product we expected to receive. The gate also doesn't have an opening and instead relies on you stepping over it. Unfortunately, at 5'1" stepping over a gate repeatedly is a bit of a nuisance. Obviously worth it to keep bébé safe but still not a great option for us, especially as we constantly go in and out of the garage. Overall, the gate is sturdy enough and will be in use for the foreseeable future.

It fit perfectly for the space I needed it installed in, and can withstand my strong 2 year old! I wouldn’t say it’s portable since it does have to have pieces screwed in but all in all i recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cute aesthetic baby gate, but not my favorite as far as size, height, and convenience go. It’s fairly shorter than my other baby gates, and my toddler has quickly gained enough confidence to try and scale it. It would be tall enough for a baby baby, but not a 1.5 year old in my opinion. It’s also a little more confusing to open / close than my others, so when people come over they have trouble getting it down when needed. The securing twist bar is sturdy, which is nice, but unnecessarily confusing to use. Overall not bad, but would not want a second for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Wooden Safety Gate by Regalo can be installed in several simple steps! I love that the gate is expandable; which makes it easy to install. The sliding mechanism is simple as well. I was saddened that the integrity of the frame was compromised during shipping so one of the corners were detached. I believe it could still work well as a deterrent to little ones trying to venture into ‘off limit’ areas.

This thing is unnecessarily hard to adjust and the pin that you push down popped out of mine and I can't find it and it's a choking hazard to my 1 year old. I'm returning this to the store.
