Q: Is it possible to have the light on but no sound? If so, how? I have pushed through all twenty sound options while the light has been on. There doesn't seem to be a light only feature.

  • A: I found a way to have the light on with no sound. Turn on the device, including the light, then unplug the power source and plug it back it. When you do this, the light comes back on but not the sound

  • A: I don't think it can. You can have sound with or without light but there is no way to turn off the sound. I had the same question and this is the conclusion I have come to.

  • A: Thanks for asking! The light can play without the sound or the sound can also play without the light. The nightlight is completely optional and can be powered on by selecting the sun symbol on the unit. To turn the nightlight back off you will select the sun symbol again.

  • A: Excellent question. Many people find low-frequency sounds are excellent for relaxation for sleep.  Our products focus on broadband noise rather than a single isolated frequency, so not a precise 40 Hz sine wave. We would recommend one of our products that have brown noise as the closest natural fit for 40 Hz. Both the Duet and the Dreamcenter would be great fits for this.

    Purchased this on sale and I’m so glad I got it. We’ve used it for a couple nights so far and it works great. You do need a USB adapter to plug this into the outlet. The on and off button is easy. For a cheap sound machine, you’re not going to get the bells and whistles. It’s a basic sound machine but has a lot of different sounds on it. The light on it does not dim but the brightness works for us. No you can’t control this from an app like others but I didn’t need that. If you’re in the market for a simple sound machine, get it!

    Don't buy this spend a little more and get a better one ...

    I’ve only had this for 3 months!! At first I loved it but it slowly started getting lower and lower and now even at its loudest setting it’s so quiet 🫠

    great sound machine

    I love this item not sure of other people's bad experiences but I came to write my review because mine is far from negative. I was gifted this sound machine at my baby shower last June 2025. I've used it ever since my daughter was born in July 2025. I haven't had any issues with it, ever. it's lighting is great, the volume is great, and it lasts forever (unit the power goes out or until I shut it off). It works by having a power source, which is fine for us because it's on the bedside table with the chargers and lamp. I can't sleep without it and neither can my baby.

    Faulty Sound Machine

    The sound and light are nice, but after a month of use, it will randomly go off in the middle of the night. It happens at different times (a few minutes-a couple hours). It remains plugged in and the timer is not on. Very frustrating.

    Hate with all my heart.

    Bought this a year ago while traveling w the kids. Its the the worst when it comes to portability. You'll be carrying it, and the next moment it slips out of your hand because of the round, smooth shape. Then it all unplugs/ detatches as it drops because the wires and attachments are weak. It also makes a weird distorted sound from time to time. It can be subtle but its detectable. I would definitely not recommend. Not an intelligently designed product. Positive: I like the light, but its bright so it faces the wall.

    Would give it no stars if possible. Only works when plugged in. And fortunately I had an extra cube so I could plug it in but what a joke to not provide the appropriate items to plug it in and not noting that on the package clearly. I see how they cut costs. Returning it as soon as I find a replacement.

    Power supply needed

    Works fine but doesn’t come with everything needed to use it (a power brick?) It does come with a power cable, but if you don’t have a USB-A power brick on hand then you can’t use this noise machine. We bought this while traveling and were lucky that the hotel nightstands have USB-A charging ports. Product listing images and box should clearly state that a charger/base is needed for use and not included.

    Items sucks

    I got it, charged it, even though I can’t find where it even talks about how long to charge it for or how long it lasts fully charged. Regardless, I charged it for a few hours and it won’t even turn on. Like at all. Waited a day, tried turning it on again. Nothing. Charged it again. Nothing. I’m returning it. Waste of time and money.

    Too loud

    Second time buying this. First time was I. 2022. But something seems to be wrong with this one. Lowest volume setting is still incredibly loud. Such a bummer since we really liked using it for the first baby.

    Do not buy, you can hear the loop

    Do not buy, especially not for your baby. When I laid my head on my pillow with this noise machine on I heard a constant almost underlying sound. Possibly the loop of the noise? Like ah ah ahhhh. It was so annoying I couldn’t even fall asleep. I got out of bed, turned it off, put my old noise machine back on and no longer heard that underlying sound.
