A: We designed Rest Go with the busy lives of parents in mind, so the internal battery can last for approximately 15 hours and charges in as little as 2 hours from empty to full. If the battery level is low and the battery needs to charge, the light indicator just above the power button will illuminate red.

It worked great for 1.5 years but then all of a sudden wouldn’t turn on. Over time the battery does degrade. Good variety of songs and ability to control sounds - my toddler can use it without a problem. It’s the second travel sound machine to die on me though, so maybe you just can’t expect durability

Do better Hatch
I would give this item 0 stars if I could. This is now my second time purchasing this item. The first item quit working after 2.5months of owning it. I loved it while it worked so I chalked it up to a faulty part and bought another one. Machine number two worked for 3 nights before it quit turning on, wouldn't hold a charge and shut off while plugged in. If you are a mama like me, our baby woke up immediately when the machine quit working all 3 times. Very disappointed in an expensive item.

After 8 month charge will not hold
I really loved it in the beginning. I use it every nap, at night and even to travel. The charge held so well until this month. My baby is now 8 months and the battery will only cover her naps (30 minutes/nap) and 5-6hrs at night. When it stops it wakes her up! Ugh disappointing :(

Does not hold charge
I previously had the Rohm travel machine from yogasleep which I loved. However, it was a little big to store for my two babies. I purchased the hatch as it had great reviews, but it does not hold a charge. On their website it says it can hold up to 15 hours which is not true. I’m disappointed because the most I get is 5/6 hours. I thought maybe it was defective, but i purchased two different ones in different colors and I’m experiencing the same issues as well. Would not recommend.

Ruined
The Hatch Rest used to be my favorite product and I recommended it to everyone. Not anymore. There is no middle ground option between the small travel size Hatch or the WiFi equipped version. The WiFi equipped version is awful. It doesn’t stay reliably connected and doesn’t have reasonable functionality if it isn’t connected to the internet and being managed (poorly) through an app that’s buggy. I’m returning my Hatch Rest + and, I guess, using my travel Hatch until I can find a different sound machine for my baby.

The Rest Go has been really nice to have while traveling. I just wish there was a small screen so that I knew what number the sounds we like are. I catch myself trying to count but not really being sure. Otherwise this was a great purchase and I would recommend to anyone who uses any version of a Hatch product at home.

Do not waste your money! Bought for traveling for our toddler. Just use your phone, YouTube white noise 12 hour. This thing won’t stay charged and just shuts off randomly in the middle of the night causing your toddler to pop up! Even plugged in, won’t stay on.
