Some aloe formulations are designed to remove makeup—notably micellar waters and certain face washes that lift away makeup (including eye makeup) and can be used without rinsing. Other aloe cleansers focus on standard cleansing and may require rinsing.
You’ll find both scented options (for example aloe or rose) and fresh/fragrant varieties, as well as fragrance-free or unscented formulations that specifically note no added or artificial fragrance.
Aloe micellar waters are presented as no‑rinse cleansers: saturate a cotton pad, press it on the eyes for a few seconds if needed, then wipe until clean. These products are marketed to be used without rinsing.
Common co‑ingredients include humectants and actives such as provitamin B5, hyaluronic acid / sodium hyaluronate, meadowfoam oil, chamomile, rose (rose water), avocado, and micellar cleansing agents.
These cleansers target a wide range of skin types, including sensitive (and extra‑sensitive), dry, normal, combination, oily, acne‑prone, and mature skin.
