A: Bar soap may dissolve more quickly if it doesn’t dry out between uses. To avoid this, be sure to store the bar on a soap holder with raised points so air can circulate around it. Don't let the soap sit in water and if possible, allow the bar to dry completely between uses.

It doesn’t leave a residue, per say but, it will leave your skin soft, and not thirsty. I recommend the moisturizing bar and would purchase it in the future.
