A: Technically not antibacterial. Though, the US FDA found 0 evidence of antibacterial soaps better at preventing illness than plain soap and water. Antibac soap can actually be worse long term.

Q: Does this Ivory have ANY kind of fragrance? Long ago, it came that way, but it's harder and harder to find any unscented or fragrance-free beauty products.

A: Our Ivory Gentle Bar Soap Original has the original scent. In the beauty care industry, we use two specific terms to help consumers find the right products to use, unscented and fragrance-free. Unscented products may contain a light scent to mask the natural odor of the ingredients in the formula. These ingredients do not have a pleasant smell, which is why it's necessary to add a very small amount of light fragrance to make the product more enjoyable to use. Fragrance-free products do not contain any added fragrance.

Q: The ten bar package I have at home shows 4X MORE/PLUS in the upper left. But in the store I saw a pack of fewer bars with 2.5X and another, I think with 3 or 3.5 X. Explain this on the package!

A: For our Ivory Original Bar Soap 10pk we offer 3.17 ox bars and 4.0 oz bars. The package that states 4X MORE are our 4.0 oz bars.

I do know it is cleaning my hands well and I’m sure it would do the same for my body as well. The ingredients seem fairly clean I just wish it was fragrance free cause the smell is a bit strong. It also says safe for the whole family and then in small print it says ages 3 and up. So not quite the whole family.

Since i have a toddler and a teen, i dont need to buy different soaps for each one. I like that it's creamy and it doesn't get dry like other brands. It makes a lot of foam just the way we like it.

As someone who has sensitive skin I react poorly to certain soaps especially if it’s scented. This 12 pack will surely last me a very long time to hand wash clothes! This is super gentle and has almost like a baby powder smell. The shape of the soap is square and it definitely doesn’t slip out of the hand but I didn’t find it the most comforting to fit in my hand.

It is mild enough to use on sensitive skin yet "strong" enough to "wash" the dirtiest skin. I even use it for a pre-wash stain remover and when soap becomes a sliver, fabric marking. This is a good price and the multi-bar pack is a total convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand of soap enchanted, since its fragrance is soft and pleasant, its ingredients are excellent, its texture is hard but when you combine it with water it becomes creamy and foamy when rubbed, its cleaning effectiveness is great since the hands are very clean and soft, its packaging is perfect, since it is very compact. I really liked this product, without a doubt I will continue buying it.

I have personally used it for my face and have seen tremendous outcome from being softer and less acne. Packaging was nice nothing too fancy but definitely good for the bar of soap.
My husbands uses it all the time!
