Most offer simple on/off, multi-step 3-way brightness (low/medium/high), or fully dimmable controls where supported. LED string/vine lights use multi-mode settings with several preset effects; some of those include a remote for mode and brightness control.

Floor lamps are about 56–60 inches tall, while table lamps typically range from roughly 12.5 to 18.5 inches—sizes suited for accent or bedside use.

Nightlight-style lamps typically use a low (~5W) bulb and emit a modest, warm glow suitable for close-range night lighting. Models with star cutouts create only limited projections onto nearby surfaces.

The LED vine/curtain lights are compact (about 5 ft × 3.5 ft), require no assembly, and can be powered by USB or by three AA batteries. They include a remote and multiple light modes for flexible indoor placement.

Common bulb bases shown are standard Edison medium screw (E26) and candelabra screw (E12). Listed maximum wattages run from about 5W for small nightlights up to 150W for some floor lamps; several table lamps list 60W (one lists 40W).
