A: These are not the constant warm light type as they used to be, maybe a year ago. They are now as of summer 2026 the flickering cold white lights.

Not warm white lights like I thought. They were so bright white that it was hurting my eyes to look at. The LED had a flicker to it as well. If you’re looking for something for a cozy ambience do not get these. Returned.

Received Used Lights with Harsh LED flicker
I received used lights. I plugged them in and they were a bright fluorescent white and were flickering like crazy. I’ve been buying these string lights from target for years because I like the soft glow around our back patio door, but these were NOT it. The harsh LED flicker was horrible to look at.

I'm not a purist against LED, but these LEDs are so harsh and difficult to look at. Not only are they very blue-toned when turned on, but they have this grating subtle flicker. I hate buying things that go to waste, but after trying them out for a little bit, everyone in my house agreed they were unusable.

These lights were not warm white as advertised, they were a very bright almost blue white color. I’m not needing to return them and find a new light which is frustrating as I needed to spend a certain amount to receive them in the first place.

Ok, but not great
The lights are bright and not a warm white. It's not daylight white but not much of a yellow hue. I'm also not a fan of the gap between the plug and the lights so that when you string together sets of lights, there's about a 1 foot gap of lights between each set.
