Common materials for baby table covers include PVC (polyvinyl chloride), paper, polyethylene, and LDPE (low-density polyethylene).

Baby table covers come in both rectangular and round sizes. Examples shown include: 24" x 14", 30" x 60", 36" x 60", 42" x 42", 84" x 12" (runner), 84" x 52", 108" x 52", and placemat-size 18" x 12".

The plastic table protectors listed are available in at least two thicknesses: 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm. Both are described as resisting wear and heat.

Plastic baby table covers are waterproof and stain-resistant. Clean them by wiping with a damp cloth or spot-cleaning as needed. Some covers also include simple setup/flattening steps in their instructions (for example, unrolling and smoothing) to remove creases.

Clear PVC protectors are suitable for many wooden-textured and hard surfaces, including dining tables, kitchen countertops, end tables, computer tables, dressers, and TV cabinets. They’re described for use in homes, offices, restaurants, and event venues.

Unroll the PVC cover and wipe away dust, then smooth it flat. To remove curls, use a hair dryer on medium heat held about 10 cm away to warm and flatten the mat. For a snug, bubble-free fit, lay the cover on a slightly wet desktop and use a plastic sheet to press out air bubbles.
