Most trading-card blaster boxes contain about six packs per box. The number of cards per pack varies by release; in the examples shown it ranges from roughly 4 to 15 cards per pack.

Blaster boxes commonly include blaster-exclusive parallels, player autographs, memorabilia (relic) cards, and occasional ultra-rare or specialty inserts and parallels.

Toy launchers are commonly labeled for ages 8 and up (some motorized trainers may be labeled 14+). Trading-card blaster boxes are typically labeled for ages 6 and up.
