I have slowly started making progress on our dining area. I still have a million goals to reach with it but felt like I should document the process.
Sometimes life doesn’t allow us to set everything up exactly how we want it the perfect way at one time. This table and sideboard have been calling my name to finish styling it, but I haven’t had the time or energy both at one time to make it happen.
I wanted to just share this because there are times and seasons where life is more hectic and we have to do things in small increments. I got the mirror hung this weekend and I’m counting it as a win.
Remember your home will not always be Pinterest perfect or Instagram ready. It’s highly unlikely it will ever be, and that’s ok. What we see online is the absolute best version of someone’s home or life in a moment, it’s ok to remember real life takes place everyday and our homes aren’t always a top priority.
