@funderelele.bookclub • Sharp Objects Gillian Flynn Sep 2006 • Mystery, thriller, suspense, domestic fiction • Camille Preaker is a journalist in a small newspaper in Chicago, she has a good relationship with her boss, who sends her to her hometown Wind Gap, Missouri to write a paper on a girl who has been murdered and another who’s disappeared. The turn of events are very interesting regarding her family, the investigators and the whole town. • Quote “The face you give to the world tells the world how to treat you” • 4.5/5 ⭐️ very recommended • Very interesting book, quick read. I think Gillian Flynn is one of the most gifted thriller writers. • In the novel, Camille says that problems start long before you really, really see them. Do you think that’s true?
