What will happen to my existing Target Circle Card Reloadable Account?
We will be closing all Target Circle Card Reloadable Accounts April 7, 2026
To help you prepare, here are some key dates to keep in mind:
- March 4, 2026: Last day you can add funds to your Account.
- April 6, 2026: Last day you can spend funds on your Account.
- July 6, 2026: Last day you can log in and view prior transactions and statements.
If you have any remaining funds on your closed account after April 7, 2026, a refund check will be sent to you in the mail. Please ensure your physical mailing address and email address are updated in your Account.
Can I create a new Goal?
After March 5, 2026, you will no longer be able to create or fund a Goal.
Can I create a new subaccount?
After March 5, 2026, you will no longer be able to create a new subaccount.
What happens if I return an item at Target that was purchased with my Target Circle Card Reloadable Card?
If you return an item at Target that you purchased with your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account on or after March 5, 2026, then you will receive cash or a Target GiftCard.
What happens if I return an item to a store other than Target that was purchased with my Target Circle Card Reloadable Card?
If you return an item to a store other than Target that you purchased with your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account on or after March 5, 2026, then the funds will be added back to your Account. If you return an item to a store other than Target that you purchased with your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account on or after April 7, 2026, then you will need to call customer service to request a refund check.
