The Georgia Boot AMP LT Power Wedge work boot is a comfortable, heat-resisting work boot packed with performance features. This 6-inch lace-up boot has a chemical-resisting SPR leather upper with Tec-Tuff leather vamp supplying abrasion resistance to the front of the foot. An unlined interior helps feet stay cool. The removable footbed combines memory foam with a polyurethane base for great rebound and cushioning. A 3-D molded counter pocket to lock your heel in place and provide added comfort. The heat-resisting flat wedge outsole on this Goodyear welted work boot is made from Carbo-Tec rubber and includes a blown rubber midsole and fiberglass shank for added stability. These are very comfortable, the material on the toe is weird but OK if it lasts longer. Whoever designed the reflector in the tongue should be fired immediately, it is so unnecessary, I actually thought it was something you need to peel off

I bought these around mid summer last year and here we are mid winter and they are not keeping up with me. They were great in the summer heat and were comfortable as can be. But they slowly began to fall apart and the leather quality just isn't there. I usually buy different boots from Georgia but I thought I'd try these out based on their heat reducing qualities. And they were great in the heat! But overall quality is not what I'm accustomed to from Georgia, usually they last years and handle anything i throw at them. But not this pair, soles are falling off ,leather has holes in multiple places and looks like it's chipping off which is weird, laces snapped awhile ago,stitching is coming apart all over and they are just about ready to trash. Didn't even last a year, like I said I just wanted to try them out so I'm not completely bummed out, but I expected better from Georgia and I'll be going back to my other (my favorite) boots that I purchase from them. The ones that I've worn for years and I know I can rely on.

I have owned several Georgia boots over the past few years. I usually get the amp wedge waterproof ones with the two tone sole. I caught these on sale 2 years ago. I ordered 2 pair. Got about 1.5 years out of one pair (I alternate them daily between pairs) I am an automotive technician and I am extremely rough on boots. The first pair to go lasted a long time but eventually developed a bubble in the sole. Still wearing the second pair which have made it 2 years at this point. I highly recommend these boots.
