Lands' End Men's Silk Long Underwear Pants

Wonderful. fits great unlike other similar ones i have gotten from elsewhere. which would develope rips and holes these are great!

These were given as a gift. I don’t know how they fit or how comfortable they are. I did receive them in good condition in a timely manner.

Silk provides a good insulation layer without bulk, but I'm female with 34 inseam and it's frustrating that only tall men's silk long johns are near long enough. Decent quality - cuffs stretch out and may ride up a bit but washing corrects. Appreciate that LE sells decent tall womens' jeans and other items, so I'll make do with the male crotch style on these...

I bought medium tall and they are actually long enough. Thank you for making extra long inseam. The top fits awesome! Thank you for making Talls that are actually long enough to fit!! Nice job.

As a 6’2” woman, finding stylish, affordable, quality clothes that fit well is a challenge. I have a few Go To’s, my favorite being BR. Sadly, within the last couple of years, they’ve stopped lining almost all of their women’s pants, which zero customers like, but just too bad for us. It’s really problematic though on my latest purchase of winter white, wool slacks. Love everything about them except for the see through factor. Anyway, my genius aha moment was to try something lightweight, like a silk base layer, under the slacks in lieu of the missing lining. Voilà!! problem solved. Undetectable, very comfortable, long enough, overall just right. I bought the men’s because they are cuffed at the ankles so no riding up. I recognize this is a niche problem/solution, but if I can help even one struggling tall sister out, mission accomplished.

My silk longjohn pants were falling apart, then I found out Land's End had these. They are medium-light weight and very comfortable to wear. The good amount of stretch should be perfect for hours of activity during my cold, rainy long walks and when working outdoors in freezing weather. Not too thin so as to not be durable, the fit stays consistent after laundering, they're very soft & never cause chafing. It's just the silk pants that I wanted & I got them at a great price - So I'm a happy customer!

Ideal thin layer for camping in tick country.. fits tightly to the skin and easy to spot ticks on you. Been using this for years now

This is reviewing 2 pairs — I bought a cream and a black pair. From reading other reviews I learned that this is the right product for a lady with long legs who likes long johns that are thin, warm, and don’t stick to my clothes. Yeah, I don’t need a fly in front, but I like having cuffs on the bottom of the legs, and having the long underwear plenty long. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the sewing around the cuffs at the bottom of the legs is too tight. I have thin ankles and feet, and it’s still hard to stretch that over. The other change that would be nice is the waistband. The elastic is 27”, and it’s hard to stretch it. If someone with a 32” waist tried to wear them, I think it would act like a tourniquet. I remembered hearing not to iron over elastic since that weakens it… so with my iron set on high heat and steam, using a thin cotton pressing cloth, I stretched the elastic out and slowly and carefully ironed over the elastic. It helped to relax it a bit and it’s definitely more comfortable. WARNING: DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Fabrics very thin and fragile. Ski clothing has lots of velcro, and sticks and tears this very light and smooth fabric easily. My 6’3”, 16 year old grandson found t his troublesome.

Bought 2 pairs of model 501830AE6 in 2022. Loved the fit and silk feeling. Bought 4 pairs of what is listed under the same name, but is model 501830AF4. The “new” edition is no longer form fitting, and most disappointingly, is nowhere near the same silky material of the previous model. It is stretchy and not nearly as thin and soft. I thought LE was above the trend of using cheaper material, lowering quality, and selling them for the same price. Massively disappointed, and now I have to return them plus find a suitable replacement from another brand.

the garment was a very good fit but has not yet been worn or washed etc.,. Assuming that these aspects prove satisfactory I would give a score of 5.

Super warm layer without the bulk.

Purchased these long underware pants a while ago. They wear well and long. Give superior warmth without the bulk. Will continue to purchase these silk long underware for the long winter months!

I've worn these frequently for a month. Overall fit is good and sized as described. The sturdy elasticized waistband is comfortable, though heavier than similar products. The ankle cuffs are not ribknit, using an inflexible heavy seam instead, making them difficult to pull on/off.

I had to purchase a second, larger pair of silkies for my husband this year. His original pair is a bit small, but he loves them under his hunting clothes or under his jeans when working outside in the winter. They wash well, and his original pair is at least ten years old and wearing extremely well. I do not put in the dryer, I hang them in the laundry room. Happy that they have tall sizes in these too since my husband is 6'2' and weighs about 270. I purchased XLT and they fit perfect.

They comfortable worn all day and they keep you warm

My husband has worn these "silk" long underwear for years and loves them. However, this time, the length says "tall" but is far from it. He kept them, and he is dealing with the shortness, but he isn't happy with them. BYW, he is 6'4" tall. With his old version of the "tall" size, he is able to pull his socks over the bottom of the "tall" silkies, but these come untucked.

Good fit. Silks are light. Keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

My husband who is thin, thought these were too tight in the waist. Exchanged for the silk top which is great

The tall seems to be a cut for larger men. I'm too skinny for them to fit snugly.
