I was looking to purchase eyelid primer and found it was no longer sold. A salesclerk recommended this product in the most neutral shade. What I discovered is it is a great primer, but also that I can use it alone as a neutral eye shadow. Also, I have sensitive skin and so far it has not caused any issue.
New to this product. First impression good

I've been using this as an eyeshadow primer since it also provides coverage for the discoloration on my eyelids. I've tried at least 6 eyeshadow primers and this is hands down the best. Eyeshadows blend so easily with great color payoff and no creasing throughout the day
Always loved these paint pots

I've been using the paint pots from MAC for over a decade. They are terrific! This color, Vintage Selection, is a perfect everyday light shimmer that makes getting ready so easy. I don't love everything MAC makes, but the paint pots are a staple for me.
I use this as an eye primer.

I haven't had these on hand since 2018, but recently found myself missing them as eyeshadow primers so I picked up Painterly, Soft Ochre, and Tailor Grey at a cosmetic chain store Tailor Grey had the softest of the formulas. Painterly and Soft Ochre went on a tad patchy, but they had different lids.. so honestly, I think they were dried a bit out. Still workable, and my eyeshadow did not bulge.

Creamy, very pigmented, and applies smoothly. Gives my eyelid full coverage without looking cakey. However, I did not find it works well as an eyeshadow primer as it made my eyeshadow crease. I prefer to use this to neutralize my eyelid. And then layer eyeshadow primer on top of it and then apply my eyeshadow.
Best ever

I have oily eyelids and always need a base but not with this product! Stays all day and even there the next morning if I was lazy and didn't wash my face before bed. Groundworks is a nice slightly cool medium brown that has a satin finish and is the most perfect color ever. I wear this on its own every day and it's a very natural makeup look, especially if you have mature skin - it doesn't highlight the wrinkles. I hope they never get rid of this.

I have eczema and therefore dry skin. Finding products that don't irritate my skin can ve difficult sometimes. When it comes to eyeshadow primer, I found my holy grail. It doesn't dry out my skin, it doesn't crease and the thing I love the most, is that blending my eyeshadow is just as easy as without any primer. This paint pot keeps your eyeshadow looking crisp the whole day (and night).
Lasts a long time without creasing

Wears so well on its own or as an eye primer. Doesn't crease and wears all day keeping eyeshadow locked in place. Very Easy to blend onto eyelid and easy to work with. Use your finger or brush to apply

I've purchased the MAC paint pots in multiple shades over the years. it's easy to apply and blend with a finger or brush and the pigment is even. I use an eye primer and it stays on all day without creasing. The pots go a few years without getting dry.
Very nice!

Just hopped on the MAC paint pot train to use it alone and as a primer (bought Painterly shade specifically to be a primer), and so far it works great! I even bought another shade, Groundwork, to see how it does on its own. No creasing under other shadows so far!
