This is NOT santal scented. Not worth the price for the vanilla, butterscotch, cinnamon type of scent. So disgusting.

I went in store to smell this before buying. I was expecting (and hoping for) an earthy, grounding, meditative scent based on the listed notes of santal and incense. Boy was I in for disappointment. It just smells like generic maple/sweet/cookie/bakery/gourmand fragrance. I couldn't smell any santal or incense. Maybe those fragrances come out in the hot throw, but I can't imagine it would considering the cold throw is just 100% sweet/gourmand. I really feel like this candle's fragrance notes are mislabeled. If you like maple cookie fragrances you may still like this though.

The smell of this candle is amazing! And if you’re truly a introvert it’s for you. Something nice to smell while reading a good book or cleaning. My only issue is and I’ve had this with a lot of target candles lately, is once it’s lit it’s not as strong as when you’re just smelling it. The smell definitely won’t fill up a whole room , maybe a small area of the room. At this point it’s more for the aesthetics but for the price the smells should project more.
