I wear a plus size 16-18. I am from NY and now reside in GA, so I am a loyal coat purchaser from this company. I was looking for something warm but light as it’s only “cold”here 3 months out of the year. The jacket size is good, length I was hoping it was slightly longer. However, the sleeves are incredibly short mid forearm to be exact. I’m not sure how you can put a warmth rating on this jacket with half the forearm Showing. I purchased in December so I’m not sure that I can return at this point.

After on ly 2 months of wear down is poking out EVERYWHERE along stich lines. This is NOT WELL made at all. Disapointed.

This can occur as the down plumes are very small and they can work their way out of the small holes created by the stitching on the jacket. Washing and drying your jackets periodically will help reduce or eliminate this from happening. We recommend washing and drying the jacket following the recommended care instructions on the garment tag. The down filling will compact during the wash cycle. It is important to dry your jacket in the dryer following washing to dry and "refluff" the down insulation. For best results, we recommend placing 2-3 clean tennis balls in the dryer when drying your down items to help prevent the down from clumping together and allowing it to dry completely. Bought the Lands End Expedition coat a month before and love it. Bought the Wanderweight packable down jacket in the same size. Soo tight in the bust, had to return. Hip and waist area fine, and wanted this one because it has a hood. Color was fun but sizing was off. I'm 5'6 165lbs, 38DD bust.

I cannot believe how much LE quality has decreased. This jacket should be warm enough for Florida but it certainly isn't! It is see-through and paper-thin. So disappointing. It looks great, though.

I own two of these jackets and really love them. Despite their light weight, they are very warm--plenty warm for 95% of the weather in the PNW. The only downside is the hood. It does not have anything to secure it, so if it is breezy, it won't stay on. Other than that, worth every penny.

So Disappointing

I recently bought this jacket in cornflower. Beautiful color. I love this jacket's fit as I have a black one and a white one that I bought last year. However, this particular jacket has an awful mildew smell. My husband suggested I wash it which I did. At first it did not smell but then the mildew scent returned. It's very strange since the other 2 jackets I bought last year do not smell. I would give this jacket a 5 star if not for the awful smell.

Purchased for my wife. Not quite as warm as she would have liked/expected. Make sure it will be big enough to wear something underneath in very cold weather, below 40F.

This is a super thin coat which functions like a windbreaker. Completely useless for chilly (not cold) weather. Very disappointed.

Don't try and wash

I bought this jacket a couple of months ago. The color is nice(lilac) and fit good (1x) HOWEVER, I tossed it in the wash today as directed. I only had the jacket and some towels for protection. Put in dryer on low. ALL the down clump!! the jacket is basically unwearable now

The down insulation will clump together when you wash the jacket. We have found that using 2-3 clean tennis balls in the dryer during the drying cycle will help to break up the down allowing it to dry completely and "refluff" to its original state. At this time, we would suggest washing your jacket again and then dry your jacket in the dryer on a low heat setting with the tennis balls. What a wonderful jacket she cannot wear. Just the right from fitting, the color enhances here hair and complexion and fits snug in all the right places on her. The almost perfect Christmas gift had she not almost immediately started allergic reaction. Some decades ago, they stopped whatever engaged some folk’s allergies as my wife has two coats that are feather/down. No issues. So disappointed. It’s such a wonderful jacket. But I have to return it.
