It’s not 100% cotton. Only Back side is 100% cotton. Face side is 55% linen and 45% cotton. This product is not soft at all. The color is different from what the picture shows (lighter).

I have the natural beige textured set. Initially, I was going to return it because it came wrapped in plain plastic, no label, and smelled like a petting zoo. But, I figured I might as well try washing out the odor and try it out. I was pleasantly surprised that the stink washed right out! It’s quite pretty on the bed. As another reviewer mentioned, the buttons and holes don’t add up. Mine align, but one button doesn’t have a hole. The fabric is very heavy. The textured side is a little rough, but not scratchy. Overall, I basically like it but I think it’s worth less than the amount I paid.

I love this duvet! It’s beautiful and the texture is really nice! The neutral color is stunning and I love that the inside of the duvet has ties on each corner to secure to the down comforter. The minute I opened it though I could tell the texture and fabric likely wouldn’t hold up to dogs though. In the first night, it got multiple snags from dog claws. So that was my fault, I’m keeping it because I love it but I would say that if your pets sleep with you, you might want to consider a different fabric and texture. :)
