Women's Short Sleeve Midi Dress - A New Day™

I love the dress and it is very flattering, but i wont wear it anymore. The fabric is awful! I am not a sweaty person at all and I have NEVER had issues with it. I wore this drss on a date with my husband. It's spring in the south and we sat outside at the restaurant. I felt like the fabric didnt breathe AT ALL. When I stood up I had huge sweat marks on my bottom and my tummy. I am 5'5 and 160lbs. I am average size and have never had this happen. So embarrassing! Then I went to brunch indoors a few weeks later and thought to give it another try. It was air conditioned and I was actually cold inside. It happened again! Beautiful dress and very flattering...horrible horrible not breathing fabric!

I absolutely love this dress! The top is fitted and a different material slightly from the skirt/bottom part. It’s the perfect length and true to size. I’m sad there aren’t more colors!!! You could also easily dress this up or down which is a huge plus for me!

This dress is comfortable and stylish. It seems more expensive than it is and can be dressed up or down with jewelry and shoe choices. Love the pockets and the fact it’s lined. I wish the pink was available in my size and I’d get both colors. I’m 5’8” 145 lbs and the medium is perfect. The small was a little tight up top. I have worn it to work and a dinner with friends.

Love detailing...inverted pleats, darts, puffy sleeves and square neck and back with smocking, pockets. Nice almost seer sucker fabric perfect for summer wedding guest outfit. It's runs slightly small in the bust and it's runs long but I love and going to wear this black dress with patent leather kitten heel slingback shoes.

The fit of the dress is really nice but I can’t decided how I feel about the material. The texture in it reminds me of the bib they put around your neck to cover you from spit splatter at the dentist if I’m being honest lol.

I was attracted to it because it fits beautifully on the mode. Once received, I like the crinkly material from which it is made, and I think it's gorgeous for the right wearer, but it didn't look quite so gorgeous on me because it's for slim and tall, which I am not. Otherwise, it is a beautiful, nicely-fitting dress.

Gives off Renaissance festival vibes. You could definitely put a fitted lace-up vest over this for a renaissance fair!

I love the fabric, color, and draping under bust, however the bust itself is ridiculously tight. If you’re over a size D I wouldn’t bother. Really disappointed, target needs to start making dresses for women who are bigger-chested. It’s very depressing when you rely on target for their lower prices, but can’t wear anything because they don’t make clothing for all women.

I absolutely hated this dress. I am 5’7” and it was long enough to be a maxi dress, definitely not a midi dress. The fabric was stiff and heavy, not at all like the traditional light, breezy seersucker. Even with the heaviness of the fabric, it was a little sheer and you could see my underwear through. The pleats are very oddly placed and unflattering. The skirt makes a bell shape, making my midsection look larger than it is. The chest was very tight, even with an elasticized back panel, yet the shoulders were falling off. Just a weird fit overall and not cute in the slightest! I am 5’7”, 200 lbs, and usually wear an L in target dresses for reference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this dress in a woman’s size medium. The fit on it is decent. It’s elastic stretchy throughout the waist. The material is lightweight and breathable. It’s neutral so it pairs with anything. The square cut neck and back is cute. The sleeves are a little bit too much. Therefor, overall, I don’t really find the total look of it very flattering. The length on it is great, but it’s just not for me. I received an incentive to write this review.

Gorgeous but a foot too long for 5’4” even with heels - it’s giving renaissance fair. Also it’s not coral - more of a bubblegum pink w a splash of coral. Thought it would be a midi but was def a weird highwater maxi on me. Pockets and crinkle fabric make it look expensive. If you have wide hips or broad shoulders beware there’s no side zipper. The box pleats in front are not super flattering.

I appreciate being able to find a dress that is 100% cotton (or any natural fiber), and I'm sure there's some people that this dress fits absolutely perfectly! It wasn't me though. I'm 5'6" and 38DD and tried the medium. This dress fit great around the waist part (directly under the bust, seriously-the perfect fit). Unfortunately, even with the stretch in the back of the dress, the bust was wayyy too tight for me. Also, the sleeves are extremely loose. It may be intentional so you can wear it off shoulder, but it looks funny when you wear it up. Because of the great fit around the waist of the medium and the already loose arms, sizing up to a large wouldn't have worked. The pink color was really pretty in person (richer than I expected, if that makes sense), but the fit was not going to work for me.

Got so many compliments on this dress! It’s comfy and love the way it looked on me.

The color is pretty and I love the balloon sleeves, but on a petite person like myself, it just looks frumpy. Definitely way too long for the intended styling, but I figured I'd give it a try. If you're more petite, it just doesn't look great on. Would probably be super cute on the right person

Cute dress tho not for me, unfortunately. Tried to make it work but bust area a bit low for the girls especially when I sit. Sleeves adorable but too long. Had to return.

Unicorn of a dress! The fabric is almost a seersucker, there is no annoying lining, it’s not too low cut, you can wear it without a bra, it’s almost to the ground making it look more high end (I’m 5’3 for reference), the sleeves come down to your elbows, and the pleating on the front is so flattering! Runs slightly big…..maybe size down one size. I hope this gets made in more colors…..red would be amazing!
