Women's One Shoulder Mini Shift Dress - A New Day™ Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mom looks great in this black dress. This style is only over one shoulder and includes a large bow for some texture. My mom is five foot six inches tall and 155lbs. She’s wearing a size large. This fits well. This material does seem to attract fuzzies and lint very easily but nothing a lint roller can’t take care of. The best parts about this dress are the pockets and the color. The dress is so much nicer in pictures than in person. The material is a weird stiff uncomfortable fabric. I didn't even bother trying this dress on. I knew it was going to be returned the moment it was unpackaged.

I think it fits a little big as it was loose in the chest area and smalls are usually tighter on me because I’m a 36. The bottom was also roomy so good if you are trying to hide a belly. The dress is a poplin so I’m not sure how it will hold up in the wash as it may shrink. I’m also concerned about the back fading. The style is very on trend and the bow is substantial which some people may not appreciate. The pockets are great. I received an incentive to write this review.

Target… I can’t make cheap dresses like this anymore. You are giving yourself a bad name. Terrible fabric.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dress in size S fits true to size. The material at the shoulder at first seemed to weigh it down but once put on it wasn’t too noticeable. It does add a cute style though I didn’t really try to un-fluff it. The dress is not very form fitting so I didn’t feel it gave me too much shape. It had a one shoulder design and hit to just above the knees. The material was a regular stiff feeling cotton and wasn’t super comfy on but wouldn’t say it was uncomfortable. Can pair with heel and go to a semi formal event. For reference I’m 5’4” and measure at 32-28-38. I received an incentive to write this review.

Material is thin, there isn’t a zipper and silhouette is boxy. The only pluses are the cute bow and the pockets.

I felt like the length was perfect and the hip and waist area fit well, but the chest area was way too large and I had to keep adjusting it. the thin material unfortunately makes the dress prone to wrinkling very easy, and felt kind of cheap. I bought this to wear to a wedding but feel that it does not look formal enough. The best part about this dress is the bow. It sat really well and looked cute.
