Women's Seersucker Maxi A-Line Dress - A New Day™

The dress is very flattering and made with a thicker material (but still cool in summer).

Ordered online and when it got here I was super excited! The pockets are *chefs kiss* and not too shallow. I'm 5'4" and the length is great, comes down to about 2" above my ankle (size small). I am bustier (D cup) so I wish there was a little more fabric coverage but I needed a size small everywhere else so that's sort of a normal experience for me with clothing. The straps are adjustable and stay up pretty well. One thing I really like is that it comes up higher on the area in frony near my armpits so it covers my little roll of skin right there haha The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the fabric (while great quality and doesn't get super hot) is pleated under the bodice so it fluffs out in the skirt part a bit. I wasn't expecting that, I thought it would sit a little flatter against my body. I wasnt so sure about that part at first, it sort of felt like I was trying to hide a pregnancy bump. But wearing it out to run errands it actually didn't bother me, it moves well and doesn't get caught around my legs or anything. Also helps keep it cooler I think! That being said, it would be a fabulous maternity dress too!

I got the pink. I love the depth and color of the dress skirt. It looks more expensive than it is, especially with a colorful necklace. You don't even really need a bra.

Beautiful dress, but runs way too big.

Love this dress. It’s comfortable. Love the pockets. It’s has lots of material and that’s what I like about it. The material has just the right amount of drape for me. It’s a bit longer than I wanted, but I clip up the bottom on the side and I’m good to go. I have two and these are gonna be my go to dresses this summer.

So so big! The XS is like a small or maybe even medium!

I really wish this dress fit but it’s huge. I got an XS so I can’t size down and wish I could. I am going to exchange it for another dress. If you are able to size down, do it because this dress is really nice. It’s a good weight and flatters well if it fits.

Looked really cute on the hanger, but once on it kind of puffed out in the belly area making it look more like a maternity dress.

I wanted to love this dress so bad. I even put it on several times just to see if I changed my mind but there’s something off about the fit. Maybe it’s my body shape, I don’t know but I didn’t love it as some of the other dresses I ordered. I tried the coral color one, it was pretty but there’s just so much fabric. I needed summer dresses for vacation and it seemed like I’d be very warm in it so it was a return.

The dress is adorable. Adjustable straps, nice length, pockets. Unfortunately that is all worthless as the second I put it on, it ripped straight through the bodice. The dress is actually too big on me, so it’s not due to it being too tight. I can’t return or exchange a ripped dress, so I guess I’m just stuck with an oversized, torn dress.

Dress is a great material and will fit all body shapes. It’s comfortable and looks great with a jean jacket for cooler temperatures.

Way too much skirting

This dress is so comfy and flattering! It runs large but the seersucker fabric holds its shape enough to camouflage any undesired curves. I like the length as well.

Was really hoping this white dress would be the perfect throujgh on dress, however, like so many other white dresses it was very see through

Strap was hanging on by a single thread and came undone

I got this dress in coral, and it is a beautiful color. The seersucker has a great texture and enough body to behave itself. It is not transparent or translucent, but the loose cut keeps it cool. The smocked back has plenty of give and allows a wide range of movement. It is long enough that I don't have to worry about shaving my legs if I don't feel like it. Best of all, it has pockets!

Just love this cute black dress. It’s light & long, which works for me. I wish it was even longer. I don’t see it necessarily as a “maternity” dress as some mentioned because a lot can be done to also eliminate the potential look of it. But just the movement of the dress shows it. Of course, it’d work well for pregnant women but also would show that. Be aware that the dress doesn’t have much stretch. The top on the black one is a little larger than the navy floral which I also bought. I tried a size up, but then it just makes it way too big up top and also there’s a lot more dress “bigger bubble“ should I say. Anyway, loving it & I can tell I will be wearing it quite a bit this summer.

Reviews are correct. Great dress — almost! Too much fabric. Size down. Large chest may have trouble w smaller sizes. Adjustable straps. Great length on a 6’ gal. Pockets! I did keep the dress in a smaller size, but wish was more chest room. Bra not needed.
