Our Men's Short Sleeve Work Shirt has been one of our top styles since Dickies started in 1922. There's a reason this style has stood the test of time. This original work shirt is crafted from our wrinkle-resistant classic twill fabric, with a generous cut through the shoulders and chest that provides freedom of movement, and square hem design for easy tucking. The piece features secure chest pockets with a pencil slot and non-break buttons. The shirt has a moisture-wicking finish to help keep you cool and dry all day long. Don't have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Chest

    With arms at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest & shoulder blades, keeping the tape level & snug.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortable loose, level line around that point.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

    Ordered 3 shirts, each have some type of defect or popped stitching. My multiple previous shirts are of higher quality and slightly thicker material, they feel noticeably different. The recent shirts are made in a different location compared to my older orders. They still fit comfortably and are of the same cuts etc. However the quality is down hill. This is unfortunate as now I'll have to find new work shirts whenever these need replacement.

    I've been wearing these shirts for well over a decade. They've reduced the fabric quality though so don't expect them to last years like the old ones did. I have some I bought a year ago that look more worn than some I've had for many years. They're simply average shirts now. Unfortunate, but this is what happens when you listen to the shareholders instead of the customers. You could do worse, I guess. Still made in North America at least. For now.

    I ordered this short sleeve work shirt to use for a vinyl graft to be ironed on it. It worked out beautifully. The material is stable and able to resist wrinkling. We wash it inside out in cold water. We hang to dry. It is exactly what we were looking for.
