L'Oreal Paris Infallible Skin Ink Matte 2-in-1 Foundation and Concealer - 0.5 fl oz

I’m 60 years old and tried this yesterday for the first time - when I say I was shocked at the results - is an understatement. Unbelievably soft and light and the coverage is CRAZY! I couldn’t believe my complexion. It’s pretty matte so I added some highlighter- It’s flawless I love it highly recommend!

Ok so hear is the thing. I can see this being awesome but it definitely needs so tweaks. This product color choice was perfect(130c) and it covered my acne spots beautifully. However it does not move with the face at all. I applied with fingers, brush, and sponge to see which would be better. With every use, it still looks so heavy. As a product that claims feels like ink, it is sticky, but not super thing feeling. I have worn all full, medium, coverage foundations and this is the most unnatural one I have used. I think this could be great I just think it needs something that will make it look and feel better on the skin. Also it doesn’t stay I accidentally swiped my nose and the makeup came right off after being set with powder and spray

The coverage is really good, especially for dark circles — it does a great job of covering them without needing too much product. However, keep in mind that it dries quite fast, so I recommend blending it right away or using a damp sponge to make sure it looks smooth and seamless. The shade I chose matched my skin tone well, which is definitely a plus. Also, the size and packaging are very practical, the container is easy to use and perfect to carry in your makeup bag. In short, it’s a great concealer if you're looking for high coverage, just remember you have to work quickly with it.

The product has very good medium coverage that is buildable. I use small dots mostly on areas that I need coverage and blend in with a beauty sponge. I have seen that adding too much can lead to patchy application and clinging to dry patches. Coupled with a hydrating primer, this product actually stayed all day and looked amazing!

It is a thinner, lightweight formula that leaves a natural and not cakey finish. I’ve been into natural glow make up, and this has fit in perfectly into my routine.

This would’ve been an easy 5 if the shades translated correctly from what L’Oréal provides to what you actually get. I got the lightest neutral shade and it looked great in the item pictures provided but when I got it, ORANGE. I thought maybe I got sent the wrong shade on accident, I did not. It makes me so sad because this truly is such a great product I still did a “wear test” on my hand to see if it was worth causing a fuss and let me tell you - this may as well be tattoo makeup it’s that good. Target this is not your problem at all but this is where I bought it and maybe this will get back to L’Oréal, PLEASE make more truly light shades or fix the current ones.

But it’s very drying and the coverage is so so . The shade isn’t bad and I didn’t notice oxidation , but it doesn’t really cover all that well and I had to use another foundation while going out . It also has a really weird old paint smell that I wasn’t a fan of . It also stained my arm when I swatched and didn’t come off for days even with an oil based cleanser . I wouldn’t reccomend .

Overall, you can’t use it as an all-over foundation due to its thickness, and it’s a bit runny for a concealer. The product is a bit large, so it doesn’t fit in every makeup bag either. 3/5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3.5 stars. I think this shade works for me, I thought i wouldn't be but definitely has a more yellow undertone. I think it's very lightweight along with a light coverage and have not found it to be buildable. I have only used this as a foundation along with a different concealer and that works. It has a matte finish. I think it is a bit expensive for the amount of product you get and I feel like I will use this up pretty quickly. I do think this is great for travel because of the size and applicator.
