Being a long-time fan of Dr. Pepper made watching my sugar intake challenging wherever it was offered. Dr. Zevia, makes it possible for me to indulge in my favorite non-alcoholic beverage without worrying about my sugar intake. Does it taste just like the original? No, not quite. Unfortunately, their disclosure about caffeine falls way short. It's in the list of ingredients, but in the nutrition label, there's NO indication about caffeine. There's also NO indication how much caffeine is in each can. I won't be buying again. My cans also came dented and leaking (practically all of them) and fortunately where I got them from, they replaced them after sending them pictures. Not going to buy sodas online any more.

It's my husband who is the Dr Zevia consumer - I'm the one who buys it. He seems to love it! I put 3-4 empty cans in the recycle bin each day. He wants the flavor of Dr Pepper and no nasty sugar alternative as in Diet DP. He has found it in Dr Zevia.

Diet Dr. Pepper is/was my go to. It's so so good. In flavor, that is. Health effects, on the other hand, are questionable. So I've given it up. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a decent alternative to date (March 2023) and Dr. Zevia is no exception. As a stand-alone, it's OK. As an alternative, though, one needs to abandon the idea that it's going to be an analogue of the "real" Dr. The day a healthy, or otherwise health-neutral, analogous alternative to Dr. Pepper hits the shelves, is the day I run in the streets naked, yelling with excitement and utter joy! Keep working at it, Zevia! I'm pulling for you!

Love Dr. Z. It's my mainstay for the day. The best thing is it isn't addictive. If I don't drink it for a few days, I don't get a headache or withdrawal s like regular soda.
