STUG III (Sturmgeschütz III) was a German tank destroyer used during World War II. Based on the chassis of the PzKpfw III tank, this assault vehicle was equipped with a massive superstructure with a 75mm gun. The main task of the STUG III was to support infantry and combat enemy targets such as barricades and armored vehicles. The Flammpanzer was very similar to the STUG III. However, it was adapted to conduct fire operations using a powerful flamethrower. The Flammpanzer has been equipped with a special tank for liquid incendiary mixture. The mixture was injected through a pipe, creating a stream of fire with a range of several dozen meters. The main task of the Flammpanzer was to fight fortifications, destroy buildings and eliminate infantry.
