Dawn Ultra Antibacterial Hand Soap, Apple Blossom, 18 Fl Oz

New scent is strong and very unpleasant, the apple sent is gone. Looking at the bottle you get the impression that this product is made with dirty water.

This product suddenly changed and now has different ingredients, color and scent. There is no label stating that this is a new formula which is very misleading.

Excellent hand soap, excellent dishwashing liquid. There are some customers on here who do not seem to have any common sense in knowing what this product is. This is Ultra Dawn dish soap and can be used as an antibacterial hand soap. It couldn't be any clearer than that. Common sense does not exist anymore for some people!

I have used this product for years, but I don't know what changed with this last bottle of that I bought, but the bubbles only last about a minute.

Houston, we have a problem! I’ve shared this feedback with my family and friends. Are you trying to purpose a hand soap as dishwashing liquid or are you trying to purpose a dishwashing liquid as a hand soap. Whichever you’re trying to do, please put it in the correct aisle, number one. Number two, label the product correctly or better. I understand trying to make one product with multiple uses but clearly from the feedback, it failed. I think more so because of the education that went along with it. None! You MUST use more to get a sink of cleaning bubbles regardless of what your testing shows actual customer feedback does not lie.

I have used Dawn “dish soap” for ages but no more. Just noticed labeling which says it’s a dish soap, then says hand soap. It’s in the dish soap section at grocery store so I guess they don’t know which it is either.

I’m not sure why this is being advertised as dishwashing liquid? The label on the bottle clearly states it is hand soap. Extremely misleading.

Try it on both my hands, and my dishes ( it does pretty good on dishe ))

This product should be better labeled. We wanted dishwashing liquid not hand soap. We will be spending our money on another dish washing liquid.

The packaging is deceptive. Its hand soap. It barely makes suds, you have to use more than normal and does a lousy job cleaning the dishes and counters

I have purchased Dawn dishwashing liquid in the past, and had intended to get a bottle today (my husband always beats me to it, and he buys something else). So I go to grab a bottle of the apple scent, and catch the same error on the bottle that I see was reported SIX years ago!! (And they said they were going to fix it.) I just caught it. I'm sure they think most people don't give a crap and just grab and go, but I was actually looking at the label, and there it is, clear as day: HAND SOAP. And on the back, the directions say that it is for use in washing hands. Nothing about dishes. Yes, there's a small reference to dishwashing liquid on the lower part of the label, but unfortunately they moved the footnote down lower, making it look like the dishwashing reference is part of the footnote: "*vs. Dawn non-concentrated dishwashing liquid." The label version I was looking at in my grocery store was different from the one here. I'd attach a photo of the label version I saw, but that feature isn't working for me. You can see it on the Staples website, though. Since I couldn't be sure what the product was, I didn't buy it. Dawn, please fix your labels, and hire a proofreader next time.

My husband bought this since he could not find Dawn blue. I had read that the ingredients are harmful to cats and not to wash the cat dishes. It also says it's a hand soap, which I have read that we don't need antibacterial soap to wash hands. This is all confusing and possibly dangerous to my cat. The antibacterial also seems to be useless.

Antibacterial soaps should never be used in homes with septic tanks. I was currently warned by my septic company never to use any antibacterial soap because it destroys good bacteria!! With about 25% of households in the US this is worse soap to use. Many times over the years the FDA has banned certain chemicals of antibacterial soaps for hand use. The health concerns for humans and the environment greatly out way the positive points of soap like this.

Very deceptive labeling. Come on, Dawn- you make the best dish soap- you don't need to deceive people who unwittingly buy this hand soap thinking they are getting your good dish washing product. This is hand soap- not dish soap- and when put a normal squirt into in a sink of water it is completely ineffective. Yup, I guess it cleans hands adequately- but that's it.

I love dawn dish soap because you don’t have to use much to get your dishes or hands clean. It’s a great product if not one of the best.

The best produced that can clean almost anything! Breaks grease off of dishes and helps clean stuck on food easily. Would recommend to anyone!

I'm a clean freak I use bleach and antibac constantly I feel my counters are clean enough to prepare food on without a doubt in my mind! I constantly bleach everything even in my dish water and my antibac soap I know my dishes are extra clean!

I love this detergent. It is very strong with the grease and it does not hurt my hands or skin in any way. I love it. It is amazing

I am using the Dawn Dishwashing liquid, I really like it, very good quality, washing the dishes very clean , even I can use it to clean another thing that I want to . Everyone should buy this product, I tell the truth . Thanks the Dawn company makes this product. I love Dawn .

I love this dishwashing soap and also hand soap. Affordable. And smells good. Very good. I definitely will buy this over and over again. Lol
