Swanson Niacinamide Vitamin B Supplement, Supports Energy, Cardiovascular Health & Metabolism, 250 Capsules

This product does not work as expected. This is not a flush free product, yet it is. I want to feel the flush. I will not buy this again, and would not recommend it.

My husband's dermatologist has him taking 500 mg twice daily to slow the number of squamous cell carcinomas that pop up. He's only had one since taking this supplement.

I first tried Niacin but I had the flushing side effects. I changed to this and had no side effects. I highly recommend.

I use niacinamide to help me with brain functioning and have found it can help when nothing else will. I found vitamin B12 can be effective without the side effects of proscription drugs. I have found Swanson Avery trust worthy brand.

Capsules are fine. Been taking for years. Took month to deliver. Probably holiday rush. Shame on shippers.

SUPER for joints! My husband and I take 6 a day(2-3x day). I have been taking for quite a while and feel that it is largely responsible for my knee pain dissappearing. I will ALWAYS keep taking this! Thank you Swanson for the great price and LARGE size bottle!

I'm taking this after my dermatologist advised taking it 2 x a day since I have had 6-10 basal cell skin cancers/year. The following year I had only 2 basal cell skin cancers!

I have a deficiency of Niacin, which is a B vitamin. Found that Niacinamide, which is buffered, is much easier on the stomach, & doesn't cause the flushing that Niacin seems to cause. Highly recommend this instead of Niacin if you are diagnosed as needing it. Also comes in 500 mg., but find that 250 mg. a day are usually enough for me.

I told my doctor I was taking this and was told it was "life extending". It is the best price deal I could find and my wife and I are taking it every day.

After taking nicotinic niacin for years, I decided to try this formula. Although it DID help ever so slightly with my depression, the nicotinic niacin works sooo much better for me. My head is actually "above water".

I've been using niacinamide as a brain booster for several years now, and find that it helps keep me sharp. At 84, I can still do crosswords and do serious math in my head. I started taking it about ten years ago when I found myself getting lost on the freeway only a mile from home! Not any more thanks to niacinamide. I recommend it to all my friends.

I think the product is likely fine (I've found Swanson to be great in some items, not so good in others). But in the bottle of Niacinamide I purchased, I found some capsules half full (

good price. I take it daily per my Dermatologist M.D. to help prevent skin cancers from forming (sort of like an internal sun screen but she also advises using sun screen). Lot's of places had Niacin (not the same thing!) but not the 500 mg Niacinamide so I was happy to see that Swanson carries it!

My Coonhound has always had allergies & has been taking meds & fish oil which really help. His nose started getting cracked & his vet recommended giving him 500 mg. of Niacinamide 3x a day. I put in the order with Swanson’s & his 2 bottles arrived quickly. Best of all, his nose is almost healed. The fact that they’re in capsules makes them much easier to give him than if they were tablets. All around good deal. And inexpensive!

Have been Using it daily for few years and it's working for me.

I had a 2 level lumbar fushion done almost 2 years ago, I have been on this brand and this strength of niacinamide twice daily for the last 6 months, I also take the Swanson flush free 1 capsule every night. I can't begin to tell you how different my life is now. I don't take any pain meds, any NSAIDS, or any other meds. I recovered from back surgery quite well but was always hurting in my joints and back, not miserably but enough that I barely made it thru the day, since I have been taking these 2 supplements I walk 3-4 miles PER day all over our cattle ranch. After surgery because of different ailments and lab results they said I might have lupus or fibromyalgia. I don't have either and I'm telling you that these 2 supplements are the reason. I'm not saying it will cure you but the way I feel and my range of motion and my ability to do things is a miracle in my life. There is an article by Dr. William Kaufman from his studies in the 1940's that is a must read about these supplements. I started out slowly with these and only need 2 a day without any flushing effects.
