It is constructed with slats, and there are spaces left between these slats. These spaces are intentionally designed to prevent water from pooling and accumulating on the seat surface. It’s actually a nice set. But the table legs came damaged and target offers zero resolution other than packing the entire at back up and returning it. I’d just like replacement table/legs. Or even a partial refund and I’ll repaint them. I had it delivered because I have no way to transport. Be better Target.
