The wood seemed rough around the edges, to the point that I was nervous kids might get splinters. The tabletop had a scratch on it, and the table did not seem very sturdy. We ended up returning it and will look for something higher quality.

The screws all worked perfectly, you had to reach your finger around the back to feel when it was tightened when you felt the bolt start to turn otherwise it will just keep turning once it reaches a certain torque. I tried all of the chairs by sitting in them, with the cushions and they were comfortable and sturdy. I'm 230 lbs. and the chairs did not stress at all.
