I am gluten intolerant and after both times I used this cocoa, I had tachycardia, my main symptom. Other brands have no such effect. Anyone with a food intolerance should avoid this product.

I love how this melts and how it can be paired with their coconut oil giving the chocolate you make an awesome nutty flavor as well as natural sweetness. I make chocolate all of the time using this and the coconut oil, or sesame oil if I dont have any coconut oil on hand. Add some milk if you want to make hot chocolate along with some karo syrup and you have a nice healthy treat that doesnt taste like honey! my kids love it.

I used to love dark chocolate syrup in coffee as a replacement for sugar. What's a little bit of step going to do? It's loaded with sugar, something I can do without. ( no gym Covid) I weaned myself from the syrup and started drinking coffee black. I got an idea about cacao and researched. Great reviews for Viva and thanks to Amazon it was delivered the next morning before coffee time. I didn't expect it to be sweet and I do taste a hint of chocolate. I feel better knowing that I'm getting very good nutritional value from this product.
