Lorell - Tempered Glass Chairmat - Floor

I absolutely love this glass chair mat. It has exceeded my expectations. The price was great! It works like a dream even on my thick carpet. It stays in place and doesn't slide like the other ones do. I wish I had bought this sooner! Great job!!

The product is very well made. I was very pleased with the excellence of the shipping packaging. It did take about 3 months to receive due to backlog at the factory.

Have used this mat for about a month now. I am impressed with the sleek appearance, smooth edges, sturdiness and clarity of it. Looks and performs much better over carpet than vinyl mat previously used. Chair rolls smoothly and quickly.

School Specialty had the absolute best price for this chairmat that was far more expensive on other sites. It's a great chairmat: sturdy, perfectly smooth on carpet, and not plastic. My only critique is that there wasn't a lot of communication about shipping.

This tempered glass chair pad is deluxe! I’ve had four plastic chair pads over 20 years in my office. This one is rock solid and will (we’ll see) be the last chair pad I’ll EVER buy. I love it and have recommended it to all my clients. I can’t say enough in favor of its solid qualities and durability. My chair glides on it. I feel honored to be supported by such a fine chair pad. Calling it a chair pad isn’t paying the respect to the quality of this tempered glass platform. My recommendation is BUY!

So nice not to have to fight my old plastic chair mat just to move my chair. The glass mat is smooth as silk and my chair rolls effortlessly. I’d wanted a glass mat for some time but couldn’t seem to justify the high prices in the office supply stores. School Specialties came through with a “got to get this” price. I highly recommend.

I purchased one of these mats two years ago. It has stood up to everything and looks as good as the day I installed it. So this year I purchased 14 more for my entire company. The look and the price can't be beat anywhere.

We have bout 10-to 15 0f these in various sizes and School Specialty is an excellent company to work with - no problems, great pricing, and easy ordering process.

Looks great and it is definitely strong. Have had in place about a month and will wait and see if scratching or any clouding appears. So far, so good. Much better looking than the plastic mat at the other desk in my office. Note this is not a school setting.

Great Product for the price! I was tired of replacing the plastic (so- called) heavy duty, plastics mats every 4-5 months. This glass alternative is light years better! Durable and strong while adding a little pizazz to my office area! Saves wear and tear on my carpet too!

I purchased my Lorell tempered glass chairmat from School Specialty at a great price. I was tired of buying a plastic chairmat that cracked and wore out. Now that I have a tempered glass chairmat, I am very happy with the whole process. Customer service was very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Bought this product about 2 months ago. Was concerned about quality of product in relationship to price.......an exceptional value.

I was a bit leary of purchasing glass but it's perfect. Works well on our plush carpet where as the plastic, even the thick ones, didnt work well and bent. Quick shipping and great price.

This is a great mat - actually, my second from School Specialty after I bought a bigger size a few weeks ago. This one is just as great: no flex, no issues. Chair glides easily. No toxic fumes. Perfect! I wished I had looked into glass chair mats a long time ago. If you work from home on carpet - this is a no brainer!

You might say getting what I needed was a rough trip. I bought a new computer and then a desk to put it on. Then I bought a roller chair to sit in. But it didn't work so good on the carpet so I bought a floor mat and then another, and then another. I bought four different floor mats and then I bought this one made out of glass. It sits on top of the other four. I should have known better but I don't pay attention to myself like I should. I should know that if you want something that works you should be prepared to spend more money. In the long run, my journey was a rough road giving a heartache or two. And I liked the glass so much I bought a second one so I can roll around a little bit more. I think they should make these glass floor mats fit to order in order to cover all the space you want to cover. That is why I give this product four stars instead of five. It just wasn't big enough in the first place.

If you walk on it with shoes it will slide from under your feet and you go tumbling. Not sure how it gets so dirty underneath.

My husband and I bought these for our home offices and we love them!
