It’s way better than a cage because the footprint is smaller. You can make use of all the vertical space while taking up less floor room. It’s easy to move around because of the wheels. I also love that there are several doors on it. 3 on the side and 3 in the front. The side doors make it so easy to clean, but its nice to have the smaller door as well so they don't all come rushing out when I open it. I like it better than the critter nation I used to have.
