Tiny super soft wood and flamsy

I like these outdoor chairs. However there are 2 issues to mention. Putting them together is a bit challenging. Also after being outside for a month paint is chipping off.

If I could give this item zero stars I would. The wood is splitting and the paint is peeling. Adirondack chairs are supposed to be made for outside and these have only been outside for a few weeks. Target will not take them back. Horrible quality and customer service. DON’T BUY THESE!!!! We are now stuck with 4 garbage chairs. Don’t waste your time or money on these.

Says you can put together with a screwdriver—I ended up with blisters on my hand after putting 1/2 of one together. Says that it takes around 30 mins to put together with a drill, took over an hour because of horrible instructions. Once it was completely put together, it was very cheap. Paint started peeling immediately. Creaks horribly anytime someone sits in it. Definitely would not recommend spending any amount of money on these. Thankfully I didn’t pay full price, but even for the discounted price I got them at, I don’t believe they are worth it.

I purchase these chairs because they were on sale and at great price. But they were horrible to put together. Piece by piece. But I got over that part and the pieces had defects in paint and cracks being brand new. When you sit in them they creak like it’s gonna fall apart. Or like the chair is 100 years old! They haven’t even last 2 months. Not worth time or money! Hopefully people read reviews and see pics.

Do not buy unless you like to spend an hour building chairs for them to get rained on once and they are breaking and paint chipping. Haven’t even sat in them yet.

They held up for about a month in the sun and rain. After that, they cracked and started falling apart. They were comfy while they lasted.

It was not very sturdy and arms fell apart. Husband decided to replace them instead of replacing it. Cheaply made.

These chairs are just slates in a box so complicated to put together. Bought for my granddaughter and she is not able to assembly.

Bought 4 chairs less than a month ago for a fire pit set up, they are all peeling and looks horrible now.

This was a really good deal considering Adirondack chairs are usually more expensive. Real wood. The chair does need to be assembled, and I put a layer of varnish since they will be outside all year.

These chairs are adorable once you get them together (which takes a lot of time.) Everything else is absolutely horrible! Our sat outside and the first rain we got all the paint peeled off. They have been sat in only a few times and are already wobbly and about to fall apart! Would NOT recommend them at all!

these take forever to put together and the paint chipped off in the rain. Then the first time we actually used them, two of them broke with under 200 pound people sitting in them worst purchase ever.

You have to put every plank together. Also, after having them outside for about 2 weeks, the arms split and paint was coming off. We haven’t even sat in them yet!

I less than half the weight limit in this chair and I feel like it is more for my size. It took a few to put them together as it was in many pieces. Also I've have them for two months exactly and the arms are cracking. They are pretty but not as good of quality I'd hoped for.

Missing essential hardware items.

Let me preface that I bought this KNOWING it was trash. The reviews are right, it's cheaply made, the predrilled holes don't always align, and if you think this will live outside just as is when you put it together, it will NOT last a whole season! This is what the reviews say, they are not wrong. I gave 3 stars because I wanted Adirondack chairs and couldn't afford to get nice ones. I bought these on a huge discount and put a lot of work into making them a little better. First I got the "natural" or beige ones...the closest to unpainted they had. If you want a color, highly suggest painting them yourself! I got natural and sanded the pieces really good. They are rough to the touch coming out of the box and finish better after sanding. I bought a wood sealer with light stain in the color I wanted and put a thick coat on all the pieces. Being cheap wood, it was thirsty and soaked in rather well. Once dried, I put it all together. I used a drill to redrill some of the holes that I felt were out of place and it ended up looking really nice! It folds up easily for storage and with any luck, all the extra work I put into will make it last. Like I said, if you want to buy build and move on with your life, I DO NOT suggest this product, however if you are willing to work on it and can get it at a cheaper price point, go fo it!!

Poor material, paint is gone and it's absolutely unsafe to use. The structure isnsuper weak and after few days of use it started to disintegrate
