Matchbox 2002 Audi RS 6 Avant Collectors 70th Special Edition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very nice set of cars, it comes in its own caring case and looks old school. The cars are not in the boxes but the boxes are available in case you wish to save it for decoration or once they get older. My son loved setting them all up and talking about the different types of cars.

The variety of car models are good but the cars are ugly. All are the same boring gray coloring. The front is misleading to what is expected in the box. It shows the cars on the back of the packaging which I i feel ruins the element of surprise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While my 7 year old wasn't super excited about the look of the vehicles - they're all grey, and he's into more exciting colors - my husband and I LOVED the aesthetic of the bundle! From the exterior packaging to the darling little individual boxes for the vehicles, the vibe was amazingly fun and retro.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is so awesome; kids AND adults will love it! It contains 8 vehicles ranging from 1954 to 2020. The cars all have a grey, rough paint (except the newest car, which has a grey, glossy paint) with orange and black details. My child's favorite car, the 2020 Nissan GT-R, has doors that open and close. Each car comes with its own box that can be used for display. The packaging is a nice touch, too. Very retro.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cool box, love the flap that comes up so you can learn all about the different cars inside. This was especially cool for my older boys who liked to learn about cars. Different from other matchbox which was nice.

When my 7 year old opened them, we spent some time looking at each type of car and talking about the year it was around. Then he had a blast playing with them all. Great that it is also a display box to show them off.

First thing I will say is that we all wish they had more color vs the grey, black and orange theme. It was cool having the old style boxes they came it when we were younger. Only one of the cars in the has doors that open so the kids wrre fighting over who gets to play with that one but boy did the wheels on these fly .the cars rolled smooth and fast down the hallway.

They are all cool and different in their own way. The other cool thing about this set is that it can be displayed when he isn't playing with it. My son loves to line up the cars and race them around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Items arrived in perfect condition, boxed in a colorful and will designed box (collector worthy). my grandchild was ecstatic and focussed on the beautiful racing scene on cover of box, we carefully removed cars from box to this excitement his focus immediately on the 6 wheel vehicle and kept as his favorite. my grandson collected all 8 cars into his carry case where ever he an outing over the weekend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set is beautiful, great car choices. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the wheels are fragile. This set is not made to play. They look better than regular Matchbox cars but they are just to collect them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a cool item. My son loves his cars since a baby, but these were something special. From the cool colors to the cars they chose. As he has gotten older he really appreciates the smaller things. The details on these cars and how they are from different decades fascinated him! He has now set them on his shelf for display and will not let anyone but him play with or touch. These were a hit!

Eight cars come in a beautiful box, which when opened displays the cars along with individual boxes for each car. The cars feel heavier than typical matchbox cars and each have a unique gray paint finish and rubber tires. Our ten year old loves that these special cars come in a “fancy” box (which we kept…), but he could not wait to get them out to play and of course race! Overall I am impressed and absolutely love this set. Our son’s favorites in this set includes the Jaguar D-Type and the Porsche 910.

It comes packaged so nicely where you can open it up and see all the cars and their names. Each car has its individual box as well. The cars are well made and it makes it fun to see the old styles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun retro set of cars with collector boxes. My son was very impressed with the different cars and that it was a "collector" bundle. As always the cars are sturdy and fun to play with. Matchbox cars haven't changed much over the years luckily. The only slightly disappointing thing about these cars are the muted colors. Normally the cars are very colorful and these are rather dull.

He really enjoys playing with them and is careful to no mess them up, so he can add them to his collection. He plays with them for a long time and they hold his attention a while. There are 8 different cars with it and he can name all the make and models of them. They are very well built! I love all Matchbox cars made by Mattel, and I am sure you will too!! I highly recommend these awesome cars to everyone to add to your collections!!
