Take for maintenance

I use this for maintenance. Not sure exactly what it's supposed to do, but so far so good! I just wish they would leave out all the junk additives.

L-Lysine is a specific amino acid very useful in many metabolic mechanisms. I have found it extremely useful in arresting the advancement of herpes simplex, no need for pharmaceuticals. Formula dose of 1000 mg/pill is accurate. At a reasonable price and I would recommend this product.

Too big for me.

I'll never know if these are any good or not. The pills are enormous. I took only one and it got stuck in my throat. Very disconcerting. I could have choked to death.

I love my 1,000. mg tablets. They are big! I put them into my first cup of coffee, they dissolve well and do not change the taste of my coffee. Great product for those of us who want a high dosage of L-Lysine.

Like the product, but...

Large pill

I take 1000 mg of Lysine daily and this is an inexpensive formula for me to get that dosage. The pill is rather large, but it is effective.

Very Effective

I use this product daily. I wish they weren't so huge and of a chalky texture which combined makes it harder to swallow. I've found a product with equal strength in a smaller size pill and a smoother texture but it's more expensive.

Hard to find dosage

This Lysine 1000 mg. pill is large but easy to swallow, it is an oblong shaped pill with rounded edges. I could not find this info anywhere online and thought I'd pass it along, as I am picky about the shape of my pills. I will order these again.
