A: To get the best effect, I recommend removing footwear.

Q: Will it lay flat on hardwood floors? Is it alright to stand on?
A: No, it will not lay flat and it's not meant for you to stand on it. You need to be seated to use it properly. But don't dismay, it's a terrific product and will keep you feet very comfortable. I've had mine for several years, and have also made gifts of two of them, and the gift recipients love them just as I do.
submitted byhard alee - 7 years agoA: It can but I would not do this for long period of time. The bottom is hollow for the heating unit and my damage the floor. I wiegh abput 160 and it holds me fine.

Q: Can this be used on short office carpet?
A: Yes. It can be used on any flooring. I currently use mine on a shagy type carpet.

A: Yes
