A: Hi! Our Hawaiian Tropic® Dark Tanning Oil is a luxuriously hydrating oil that nourishes your skin with rich moisturization and is meant to enhance your tan, not act as a self tanner.

A: No it is not self tanner, it’s a tanning oil. It won’t add any color, it just helps you tan when you lay out in the sun.

A: I have very pale skin and want a natural tan look. Does this shade look good on pale skin?

A: It will still work but won’t be as strong and may rub off just reapply and just keep tanning!

A: Just make sure to follow the instructions and reapply as needed.

Hawaiian Tropic does not use PABA in any of our sun care products. We do not design our products using nanotechnology.

A: The Dark Tanning oil does not provide any sun protection. If you're looking for to deepen your tan with protection from the sun, we recommend the Hawaiian Tropic Protective Tanning Oil which comes in spf 15 and spf 25.
