How to Apply
Apply evenly an abundant quantity over the entire body and reapply frequently, especially after swimming, toweling and perspiring. Strictly avoid eye area. Avoid exposure to the sun during midday hours (10am – 4pm). Over-exposure to the sun, even while using a sunscreen product, is a serious health threat. The product does not contain UV filters and hence it does not protect from UV radiation. The product contains ingredients that could color fabrics.

A: No, you shouldn’t apply sunscreen over the Carroten tanning gel. Sunscreen should always be applied first, directly onto clean, dry skin. Once the sunscreen has fully absorbed, you can then apply the Carroten tanning gel on top. This ensures that your skin is properly protected from UV rays while the tanning gel helps enhance your tan.

A nice Tan Accelerator
Ok people, this is for all those who are confused. This product is a tan accelerator. Meaning, you apply your sunscreen and let it dry, then you apply this product, and then you go in the sun. It speeds up your tanning process. It isn’t a sunless tanning product. It’s not supposed to give you a buildable gradual tan like sunless tanner. It does give your skin a slight tint, if you have light-medium skin, when you apply but that’s not what it’s referring to with the words tan accelerator. For example, I have light skin. If I lay out in the sun, with sunscreen, it would take me a week to start to see a good tan forming. However, with this product, and sunscreen, I got a nice tan after only two days. I hope I have made it clear to please use sunscreen when using this product!! But it is great at speeding up the tanning process. The smell is nice. I love the shimmery look. It’s not glittery. I did get a little on my swimsuit and towel but it washed right out.

For the love of baby Jesus if I see one more review saying this didn’t work to tan you because you used it as an instant tan! YOU USE IT IN THE SUN! Outside. To tan. With spf so you don’t fry. Anyway it works like a charm and was something I could only find in Europe so I’m glad it’s available here now!

I Iove that the shimmering pearls give an immediate glow. I am impressed at how well the product accelerates and intensifies the slightest tan and can’t wait to try it next in the Caribbean. I was disappointed that the tanning gel left visible marks on fabric, as I was not super careful after applying. However, it washes out with ease. I love the way it feels (thick). It also smells like buttery cocoa goodness. It helps my skin feel super soft, and this product glistens like the sun. I’m not much of a tanner, but I do recommend this product if you do!
