I have a big can of tomato sauce with a code of 2105215720NS19:23E - Is it still good? (I'm thinking its best buy date is May of 2024, but I may be wrong... (I assume 21 is the year it was canned, 05/21 was the day...I ASSUME the commercial cans are good for 3 years, and 5720 is a lot, NS is a plant name/cannery locator, and 19:23E is 7:23 PM Eastern time.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE WAY THESE WERE PACKED FOR SHIPPING, NOT FOR THE PRODUCT these were shipped with NO bubble wrap or paper in the box - just thrown in so... do you really expect them to arrived w/o damage? So ridiculous, one of the two cans was dented due to negligent packing for shipping. Shame on you Target
