Q: Our family has been using all free and clear because we have allergy issues. But lately our laundry has developed body odor issues. Even after we wash laundry our clothes don’t always come out smelling fresh and clean. So you have any solutions?
A: Snuggle fabric softener may help. Some people add a little lavender water to their wash to improve the aroma.

Q: Has the All Free and Clear formula changed recently? We used the same detergent for 13 years. Now, all of a sudden, we get hives after using the product.
A: ALL, like most brands of detergents, ADDED Benzisothiazolinone to their Free & Clear detergent when the new 73 oz bottles came out, which is less concentrated than the Methylisothiazolinone.
submitted byjbarsm - 4 months agoA: I meant to say detergents use HIGHER concentrations of Benzisothiazolinone than Methylisothiazolinone, therefore BIT does not rinse out as much as MIT does, which leaves behind more irritant.

Q: Do I need to use more detergent if my machine is regular vs an HE machine?
A: Hello Nikki - All Ultra Free Clear HE liquid laundry detergent is safe and effective to use in both standard and HE machines as they are formulated to be low- sudsing. A regular sized load does not require that you use more detergent.

Q: Is this detergent safe for animals (cats and dogs) if I am washing bedding that they will be sleeping on?
A: I use this detergent on my bedding. My cats has both allergies and chronic bronchitis. She hasn't had any issues with it. I do wash my bedding in hot water and do a double rinse.

I accidentally bought Free & Clear "Odor Relief" and have been itching for weeks - just only realized that it could be my detergent! I checked and yes - ALL of the other formulas of Free & Clear contain it, so be careful! The "pure" "oxi" & "clean & care" all do!
