Neutrogena Body Clear Acne Body Wash with Glycerin for Breakout Treatment - 8.5 fl oz: Paraben-Free, Oil-Free, Sensitive Skin

I have a history of terrible ingrown hairs on my legs after shaving. I now have incorporated this into my shaving routine and it’s a miracle. I wash my legs with this before & after shaving and I get significantly less ingrowns since I started doing this. I don’t know the science behind it but it works for me.

I recently had a bad back/chest breakout and this has cleared most of it up in under a week. The trick is to leave it on your problem areas for at least a minute before rinsing off.

This product is great overall. It works effectively without overly drying out the skin. However, as someone who pays close attention to ingredient labels, I do feel the Body Clear products could use cleaner formulations. Some ingredients included seem unnecessary, such as: Propylene Glycol — a potential trigger for allergic contact dermatitis, which can lead to irritation or rashes, especially in individuals with sensitive skin. Yellow 5 — an artificial dye that certain studies have associated with possible negative side effects. Red 33 — also known as Acid Red 33 or Aminotoluenesulfonic acid, a synthetic azo dye derived from petroleum. Although Triclocarban was once used as an antibacterial ingredient, it has since been associated with hormone disruption and other potential health risks. A more suitable antibacterial alternative that could be incorporated is Benzalkonium chloride. This cationic surfactant and biocide is widely used as an antimicrobial preservative in products such as disinfectants, hand sanitizers, and pharmaceuticals. It effectively inhibits bacterial growth and supports thorough cleansing and disinfecting of both skin and surfaces.

This acne wash is good and smells amazing. I do like the foaming it gives when you lather it. It doesn’t dry out your skin too much but I didn’t notice a big difference in my back acne being gone.

If you have oily skin, get this product!! It helped reduce breakouts on my body, and the salicylic acid ingredient clears out your pores. It is pretty drying if you have dry skin, but if your skin is oily this is definitely the product for you!

Really like the feel of the body wash on my body. The texture is nice it lathers up very well in the shower. I have noticed great effectiveness in clearing up my skin without causing any irritation or redness. It smells exactly like the pink grapefruit and leaves my skin very fresh and clean everyday. I got this for my 14 year old son because he’s been getting breakout on his shoulder and back from sports. He’s been using it for about a week and it’s really calming things down. The smell is fresh and not to strong. It’s lathers good and rinses off clean without any residue. It can be a little drying if he uses it every day.

I'am trying the Neautrogena Body Clear Acne Treatment Body Wash and honestly It as become a staple in my routine. This body wash is formulated with salicylic acid, which helps cleanse pores.

I have purchased this multiple times for my kids when they were preteens and teens. Back acne completely disappeared. Good size bottle for the price and my teens saw improvement within the first week of using. It did dry their skin a little bit but as long as they moisturized it was nothing too bothersome. Would recommend to anyone struggling with body acne or any gym lovers or athletes that tend to work up a sweat.

Im using this for back acne. It’s not drying or irritating my skin. Its a great cleansing product to use in the showe and easy to rince.great result!

If you have acne on your back, this is your new go-to! Use it at least 3x a week and you’ll see a difference right away. It doesn’t dry out your skin or anything. Has a pleasant smell.

I have always had great experience with this product. I think it is very effective for teens struggling with acne, but it can be drying if your skin is sensitive so be sure to moisturize after use of that is the case!

I used this in the summer when my back and shoulders would break out fro lm sweating. It helped clear up my skin and leave me with a fresh feeling. Smell was good too.

I have acne body in the arm the back that help treat acne and prevent new breakout by exfoliating the skin. Help removed an excess oil allowing the medication the reach the root of the pimples. The smell is very good grapefruit and vitamin C keep my body clean very well and not have oil

My chest and back break out and I started using this last summer. It makes a big difference and mostly clears up my skin. I don't use it in the winter because it's too drying at that time of year. Also, the scent is great and wakes me up!
