6 month old- threw up
Decided to give this product a try after mixed reviews. I wish I wouldn’t have! It made my 6 month old baby vomit horribly and also lethargic. Scared me to death! I don’t know what’s in this to make so many babies sick, but just don’t buy it! Try a different cereal/oatmeal before even giving this one a try. I decided against the negative reviews and went with the positive ones and it ended in my poor baby getting sick from it. Lesson learned! I wish this product would be taken off the shelves for so many negative reviews that all say the very same thing.

Stop selling this!
My six month old ended up in the ER from how much projectile vomiting he was doing. It started overnight in his bed - SO DANGEROUS - and continued for hours. He was given electrolytes and zofran at the ER to help, but it was all because of this oatmeal! Do not feed to your children. Stop selling this to families!!

DO NOT BUY
Vomiting and lethargic everytime my baby has had this. At first thought it was a stomach bug. I gave her morning oatmeal. Then she was vomiting all day. And only kept down pedia lyte. Tried oatmeal after days went by and thought it was could be the formula. which I then changed. (Baby combo feeds. She only gets two ounces of formula) . A week went by normal combo feeding and fine. Today 05/02/2025 I try this oatmeal… an hour and a half later my baby is vomitting and lethargic. Earths best count your days.

Causes projectile vomiting
Introduced this twice to my son at 6 months and he projectile vomited multiple times, both times. Was concerned he had an oat allergy, but I switched to another brand with no issues! Do not buy!!

Works for me
Have given this to both of my children with no issues. Reading reviews is curious if those who had sick children from using this ended up having an allergy to wheat since this contains or is contaminated with wheat. Gave both my children this daily and they both liked it! Also concerns with added sugar—it’s not added sugar. It is the way the enzyme works with oats. Like oat milk. Anyways, I would recommend this.

misleading sugar content
The website nutrition facts list 0g added sugar but recent boxes seem to all have 1g added sugar. Can someone from the company please explain why there is 1g added sugar now? The ingredients list doesn't include sugar. Is it coming from one of the other ingredients like electrolytic iron or vitamin E?

Hello! We recently changed our ingredient supplier and updated our process. The added/additional sugar is coming from a processing aid called amylase enzyme. During production, this enzyme breaks down starches into sugar. The most accurate information can always be found on the product label. We periodically update our labels based on new nutritional analysis to verify natural variations from crop to crop and at times formula revisions. Our website does not necessarily get updated at the same time. The website is intended to be a general guide to consumers. Thank you.

VOMITING, LETHARGIC. PALE, CLAMMY.
I wish I could rate it a zero. 2 hours after eating, baby had projectile vomiting, extremely lethargic, pale and clammy. We were terrified and ended up in the ER. So sad I did not read the reviews first. DO NOT BUY.

I purchased this also without ready reviews. For whatever reason I came back and read them and the same thing happened to our 5 month old. Projectile vomiting. Not lethargic like some others said but I had no idea why suddenly he was spitting up A LOT and so much.

projectile vomiting and extreme lethargy
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT! I don’t know why this product is still on the shelf, I’ll be seeking out legal actions before God forbid leads to lethal reaction on some other babies. My baby (5months) had this cereal and vomited, I though may be she wasn’t ready so tried again pass 6months and she wouldnt stop vomiting, it’s been 4 times now and I’m debating on taking her to ER. She is really tired and lethargic. Went to research and sure enough so many babies with same reaction! How is this product still in the shelves. I’m writing this review as my baby is still sick few hours down. They should be sued for poisoning babies! This is scary! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

Caused projectile vomiting
So sad! I gave my baby this oatmeal thinking it would be a good alternative to the gerber brand. Two hours later my baby started projectile vomiting. I came on here to see what others said about it and so many other babies have had the same reaction. I’m so sad that I this company still has this on the market. Please do not give to babies.
