Q: I am an adult of age 32.My mouth is relatively smaller.Will this guard fit ? That is the length of the guard will be longer for me I think.Can I trim it?

A: I am an adult with a small mouth and this guard is barely long enough, front to back, to fit my back teeth which I clench and grind at night. It is also extremely wide so that eventually it rolls off the stiff bottom pad and I bite through it, through the soft stuff. These only last me a month to three months, and it's getting expensive to keep buying these. The break even point is 3 years for the dentist-provided version. I got about twelve off my last dentist-provided version and it fit much better. But until you can get in, it's a viable alternative, I'm glad this exists, and I really appreciate that Target stocks these!

A: Not in my experience. It does, however, do a great job of protecting my teeth from my nightly grinding.

Bought because my night guard from dentist broke after 5+ years. I read directions 3xs then followed to the T. Absolute garbage! The plastic melted through the holder then when you pulled it out, it broke apart. Returning. Don't buy!

The custom fit worked well. Only thing is that I definitely can’t bite down all the way and can tell. I guess it’s kind of the point lol but I’ve used a custom fit mouth guard before this where I sent in an impression of my teeth and I could still bite down all the way, so this is taking some getting used to. Overall a great purchase for price point and fit. Does the job well!

I carefully followed the fitting instructions, but unfortunately, this dental guard has some significant drawbacks: • Sizing Issue: The guard feels uncomfortably small and doesn’t properly accommodate my mouth’s shape • Poor Retention: It consistently slips off and fails to stay securely in place • Value Concern: Comparable options on Amazon offer better quality at a lower price point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this dentek dental guard for free in exchange for an honest review. The mouth guard comes with a little box and is very easy to use. The fitting was very easy as well, you can heat it either in the microwave or stovetop and it’s very quick. You just heat it and the actual forming only takes two minutes. It really helps me to not grind my teeth too much and is also pretty comfortable. I think it’s a really good alternative to a mouth guard that you can receive from the dentist and it’s also way cheaper.

The tray to hold the guard is awkward and feels like it gets in the way rather than help. When I realized my first attempt wasn't a good fit, I tried again as instructed and it fell apart on me. I'm not even able to use this. Wouldn't recommend. Will keep looking.
