Q: The images on the package make the plastic look very thick between the teeth. Is it really that thick? How about a photo rather than an artist rendering?

I noticed ppl loved this or hated it. I found it easy to use. I simply adjusted it and put it in my mouth. I also liked that it wasn’t bulky, and the price. I’ve had it for about 5 days and it stays in place. And I can close my mouth. I’d suggest those who found it uncomfortable etc. to make sure it is not upside down.

this may be a decent night guard if you don’t have an overbite. when my jaw is relaxed my mouth stays open with this night guard in which is a no. just writing this so ppl w/ overbites know this is probably a no go

complete waste of money!! I can’t close my mouth with it on, uncomfortable cheap plastic, caused more jaw pain. overpriced. get the one that molds to your teeth.

Slim comfortable fit. My dentist has been recommending that I buy a mouth guard because I grind my teeth so bad. I’ve tried others and even custom in past but were not as comfortable. I love how it provides the guard between my teeth without all the bulk of a full guard. Love that it comes with 2!

I developed TMJ issues recently. My primary care doctor recommended that I try a nightguard prior to seeing a dentist who might suggest a more expensive nightguard and/or injections. I was experiencing a tight jaw, headaches and jaw pain for weeks & just recently had seen my dentist. There was no evidence of grinding, so most likely, I'm clinching my jaw during my sleep. What I like about this nightguard is that it's adjustable & does not require boiling as part of the fitting process. I also appreciate that their are two nightguards pe box, making it very convenient to replace with a new one once the first nightguard wears out. I do recommend brushing and rinsing the nightguard daily andallowingo air dry before storing in the case that is provided in the box. After a week of consistently wearing the nightguard while sleeping, wakeg up without a sore jaw & headaches.

This is my second set. I had miserable neck pain for a few years. My ENT recommended a mouth guard from the store. I tried it and it relieved all my neck pain from TMJ. The pro is that it is a slim mouth guard and easy to use. The disadvantage is that if you do a lot of clenching you could bite your cheeks/tongue. The placement where it wraps around teeth is a bit awkward. It might not be for you. You also need to break in the mouth guard because it can scrape and hurt a bit upon the first few weeks of breaking it in since it isn’t molded to you. Overall, it was a big a help to me.

This is my third mouth guard. I tried purchasing one from JS Labs what a nightmare. Then I brought two different ones from Dentek and this is the one for me. I didn't have to worry about boiling water, making an impression all I had to do was gently pull to fit the guard to my mouth then bite down. The best part is there is no bulky bite pads or discomfort when I sleep. This mouth guard does the job and it's two in a pack. If you are like me and cannot wear the one from the dental office give this variety a try.

These do last about a year like the package says. There’s two in a package, so six months each. I am a heavy clencher at night and the type you boil normally only last about a month for me. Once the adjustment slide stops staying put, it’s time to switch to the second one. Effective and affordable.

I started using this mouthguard in around 2019. I hated anything bulky, it would make me want to throw up. The first time it would fall out, but i got accustomed to it and it never falls out. I love that you get two, so when I feel like I’ve really grind them. I get to switch. I have bought a couple throughout the 5 years. Just bought a new one today!

I want to start by saying that I have been using Dentek’s other mouth guards for years and love them. I was traveling and forgot to pack mine so I decided to get this one since it doesn’t require any boiling. It was immediately painful against my gums and uncomfortable. I ended up not using a mouth guard at all during my trip which is less than ideal but still a better option than trying to wear this.
